I found it really good. Anthony Hopkins was jsut so creepy. He owns that character. I also like how they tried to make it timeless. I think they went to great efforts to make sure that nothing is dated, such as clothing

I wasn't too happy with the movie, actually. I read the book not that long ago, so I guess I was expecting something a little different. I don't know what exactlz, though. Then again, I do believe that happens with every film when you read the book first. x

I knoww hat you mean, ladyjulie. I watched the film a long time ago and then read the book. I find that is the best option for me. I get my hopes up when I do it the other way around.

I must agree with youladies, anthony hopkins is creepy! who would have thought! I who was creepier...the joker or hannibal? xx

I was very happy to watch this film again. I find it pretty creepy and a bit thought provoking. Like you, redhot, I watched the film and then read the book after a while back. I find that is the best way to do these things.

Back to the film: The acting is wonderful. I don't think another person could do Hannibal like Sir Anthony. Absolutely amazing. xx
