and she finally opened up and told me tat someone is teasing her at school,. Even though Iw atned to go and confrtont eh tkid myself, I know tat will only make the situation wrose. What should I tell her

tell her to ignore the bullly..although tat is easier said than done

yeah, tell her to make a journal or something and write down what she feels..it will help her

tbh, I'd try and teach my child to rise above things like that. As computerwhiz says, it is easier said than done but if you keep going, the bully will lose interest when they see no reaction!
