but I am scared that I am not going to put the car seat in right. We just bought it (a bit early, but it was drastically on sale) and it just doesn't look sturdy to me. Are there any tricks that I don't know about?=

in some small towns, the local police office will check it for you or a fire department. Iw ould call and ask them
