cloth nappies and rash

I have decided to use cloth nappies as I think that they are better for the environment , etc etc. However, my lo has developed a terrible rash. What should I use?

I used a flushable liner, as this stops it coming into contact with the nappy and affecting the absorbency. I find that olive oil and tea tree oil mixed works as well a nappy cream, although I am using Kamilosan at the moment
