"My husband’s child is frightened of me, what do I do?"

Coming into a new family is always hard for a mother, especially if there are children involved. Trying to get them on your side is an important task in making the relationship work, but what should be done if the child resists the input of a new mother?

Sometimes it might be because he/she sees you as the reason they no longer see their mother,. So the best idea is to spend time and try and gain the trust.
