Buying a pet for your little one seems like a win on the surface, yes, you do have to pay attention to a pet and take care of it like a child, but its presence is heartwarming to a child, giving them a companion around the house – but does a pet have any dangers to your child – can they have an adverse reaction on your children?

:) well, you have to do research on the animal and on the breed itself. Such as, no matter how mcuh you may love it and want it, do not get a pit bull if you have small kids

you also have to know your kid. I say don't get a pet if you KNOW your kid is going to treat it terrible!
