"How old should a child be to walk home by themselves?"
Safety and security are two paramount words in a child’s life, and getting home from school is usually accompanied with a parent or friend, but when is a child able to walk home safely on their own – when can a child be trusted to make their own way home?

well, I think it depends on the neighbor. my mum didn't trust us to walk alone until we were 13.

absolutely depends on the neighborhood. I was allowed to walk home at about 7

uhm depends on the kid as well some kids mature better than others ;)

I don't know. I think that I will make my kids wait longer than I did.

I think most moms would feel better if their kid was in a group or with another adult, no matter the age
